Nail Technician

Manicurist/Nail Technician – 300 Hours

An exciting career is right at your fingertips… and the fingertips of millions of others! Whether it is in a trendy salon, a tranquil spa or somewhere in between, opportunities for nail professionals continue to flourish. By enrolling in the Nail Technician program, you’ll learn both classic and creative techniques in nail design. The importance of having well-groomed nails and hands has always been a significant part of our culture. As a result, nail care is one of the fastest-growing services requested in salons.

Nail Technician is more than a manicure or pedicure. Nail technology is the art and science of professional nails. You’ll learn the anatomy, physiology and pathology of nails and skin; nail beauty techniques; and professional nail products and their uses.

The curriculum includes: Sanitation, Anatomy & Disorders, Statute & Rules, Manicuring, Pedicuring, Chemistry, Salesmanship, and State Laws. Sculptured Nail Techniques include: Tips, Sculptures, Overlays, Fiberglass, Gel Nails, Nail Wrapping, Acrylic Nails, and Nail Art.
