FAQ’s About Our Full Specialist Program

How many hours is your full specialist program?

Our full specialist program is 600 hours. Meaning you can become a licensed Spa and Hair Removal Specialist in as little as 7 months!

What are the schedules like for this program?

If you were worried about how, you could make time for class, there may be a good option for you at Shear Excellence Hair Academy. We offer different schedules for flexibility to help balance beauty school and life.

Check out our schedules below:

Full-time Days: 30 hours per week, 8:30 am to 3:30 pm, Monday through Friday.
Part-time Days: Minimum of 20 hours per week, 8:30 am to 12:30 pm, Monday through Friday.
Part-time Days: Minimum of 20 hours per week, 1:00 pm to 5:00 pm, Monday through Friday. (This schedule is offered for our Spanish Speaking Students for all specialty programs) Nail Specialist. Facial Specialist & our Full Specialist Program.
Part-time Nights: Minimum of 22 hours per week, 5:00 pm to 9:00 pm, Monday through Thursday and Saturday 9:00am to 3:30pm

Prospective students must be at least 16 years old.
Provide an official high school transcript or diploma, or passing GED scores.
Present a valid picture ID and Social Security card or other required documentation.
Provide an Alien Registration card/INS Proof if necessary.
